Snow Season 2024-2025
Snow season is upon us, and we are thrilled to have you on board for this upcoming winter! As many of
you know, Montana winters can be unpredictable and tough. At North Grounds, we want to ensure that
snow removal operations run smoothly for everyone this season. Below are some important reminders
regarding our snow removal protocols:
Snow Removal Start Time:
Snow removal operations are scheduled to begin at 3:00 AM, weather permitting.
If snow accumulation has not reached the agreed-upon trigger amount by 3:00 AM, operations
will be delayed until that threshold is met. Any delays or route changes will be communicated by
our office staff to management.
- Your Association’s Schedule:
Operators are scheduled to be onsite before 8:00 AM.
Plowing will begin with the main roads, then move to side streets. - Snow Removal Triggers:
Your snow removal trigger is set to 1 inch of accumulation. - Continuous Snowfall:
During ongoing snowfall or significant accumulation, our initial focus will be on keeping your
traffic areas passable but may not get fully cleared until the snow has stopped. Please note that
this may extend into the next day to allow our operators to work safely with adequate rest. - Parking Guidelines:
Please avoid parking in front of snow piles, as space for snow storage is limited. We kindly
request residents to adhere to this guideline to ensure we can properly store snow. - City Code Compliance:
Shoveling snow from driveways into the road violates Bozeman City Code of Compliance and
may cause ice berms. If operators are called back to remove these berms, a service charge will
apply. - Reporting Unaddressed Areas:
If you notice an area still unaddressed after a reasonable time following snowfall, please contact
our office so we can resolve it quickly. Your feedback helps us ensure no areas are overlooked.
Enjoy the snow!
